Triggering Downloads
How do I trigger a download for a dataset?
Follow these steps to trigger a download:
- Navigate to the dataset listing
- Find the dataset you want to download
- Click the "Download" button in the Actions column
- In the Download pop-up:
- Enter a file name
- Select the desired file format
- Choose fields to include (all fields are selected by default)
- Click "Download" to start file preparation
You can customize your download by selecting only the fields you need.
Managing Downloads
How can I access the Downloads Listing to view my file?
The Downloads Listing shows all your triggered downloads and their current status.
- Navigate to the Downloads Listing
- Look for files with "Ready" status
- Click the "Download" button to save to your local storage
Files will appear in the listing immediately after triggering, but may take time to become ready.
Can I delete a file from the Downloads Listing?
Yes, you can remove files from the Downloads Listing:
- Locate the file you want to remove
- Click the "Delete" button for that specific file
Deleted files cannot be recovered - you'll need to trigger a new download if needed.
Search and Filter
How do I search for a file in the Downloads Listing?
You can search for files using:
- File names
- Recently searched keywords
Simply enter your search term in the search bar, and the table will update to show matching results.
How do I sort columns in the Downloads Listing?
To sort columns:
- Hover over any column header
- Click the sort icon that appears
- Click again to toggle between ascending and descending order
When sorting multiple columns, the most recently sorted column takes precedence.
Can I filter results in the Downloads Listing?
Yes, you can filter any column:
- Hover over the column header
- Click the filter icon
- Select one or more values from the dropdown
- The table will update to show only matching results
You can combine filters from multiple columns to narrow down your results.
